Our Mission

To develop and deliver empirically validated, skills-based programs that help people of all ages change their mindsets to become more resilient, more productive, more successful and more satisfied at work and in their lives at large.

Three strategies that flow from our Mission have made us the training partner of choice for companies such as Verizon, Sprint, Novo Nordisk, Johnson & Johnson, Merck & Co. Inc., Microsoft, & Merrill Lynch and many more. Here's what sets us apart:

  1. First - We get to the root cause of obstacles to performance and productivity. Thirty years of research shows that training strategies that try to change behavior don't work, or if they do, have only short-term effects. Our training programs tackle mindsets. We lead participants in our workshops to a greater understanding of their Thinking Styles and help them become more flexible and accurate in their thinking. This produces behavior change and has long-lasting impact.

  2. Second - We measure the effectiveness of our training. We are not just willing to do so. We're proud to. Because our research shows that we get results.

  3. Third - We work with you to customize our solutions, whether that be coaching, training workshops, or assessments. We will never hand you an off-the-shelf training or consulting product. That's the easy thing to do, but they just don't work. We will consult with you to tailor make any of our workshops and other offerings to fit your organization, your culture, your needs.

Our Founder

Dean Becker

Dean Becker is a business executive with an MBA and a degree in psychology. He managed companies in the human resources and healthcare arenas prior to assuming leadership of Adaptiv Learning Systems.

He began his career with IBM's mainframe computer division. His top sales performance quickly led to his being named to IBM's Executive Resource Program, a select internal group of high-potential employees earmarked for management advancement. During the PC revolution in the computer industry, Becker shifted his career into search and recruitment for the data processing industry. After joining Source Services Corporation in its Source EDP division, he soon became the company's youngest managing director nationwide.

Becker's experience in both technology and human resources management led to an opportunity to join with several physicians who were creating a new kind of service company for physicians that required his specific combination of skills. His natural entrepreneurial management style led him to accept. He joined Adaptiv after negotiating the sale of this company.

Becker is an Adaptiv Master Trainer and Master Coach and is in demand as a speaker, facilitator, consultant and coach. Connect with Dean below
