Trap It, Map It, Zap It!

Learning to rein in your emotions when they're not serving you well takes practice. First, trap the emotion by simply naming it. Second, using the chart, map the emotion to the kind of thinking that fuels it. Third, zap the thought by following the directions on the chart (This is the toughest part.).
